Aisha Hinds is an American actress who is best known for playing roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. She has proven her versatility since 2003 by delivering outstanding performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Anna's character on Assault on Precinct 13 was her debut big breakthrough. The film was primarily for her portrayal of women's liberation activist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the documentary film All the Way, which gave her the respect she earned as an actress. Hind was also acknowledged for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel drama series Underground.
