Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix is an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix showed an early aptitude to play sports while in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the at the time. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she finished second in the 200 meters race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from high school and signed an official contract to Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world for running 200m. She won the title in 2007. defended the title against her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo consistently placing within the top three of her competitions.
